Kyle, who started Traffic Safety Corporation in 1995, says it has been exciting to witness his company's products improving pedestrian safety in communities across the country. "In 1995 we started to champion inpavement lighting for pedestrian crosswalks and began working to make inpavement lighting an approved solution for enhancing pedestrian safety. We were gratified that the FHWA adopted our concepts as Part 4L of the Year 2000 Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Our systems save lives and we take great pride in that." |
